When purchasing alpacas, is color important in your decision?
And
What is your favorite color.

Favorite colors for alpaca breeding is tied between Black and Gray, very interesting that these are the two most difficult colors to breed for.  Perhaps this is what makes them more desirable.

Most of those surveyed stated that color is always considered but not an item that was a high priority,  Color is taken into consideration after other more important factors such as conformation and fiber fineness.

In order of priority
what are the most important advantages to you for being an active member of your applicable registry?
Please put in order of priority your top five reasons for becoming a member of your applicable registry with (1) being most important and (5) least important.
     1. Discount in cost of registering my llama / alpaca.
     2. Voting privileges.
     3. Membership Advertising discounts / opportunities.
     4. Support from fellow breeders.
     5. Receipt of newsletters / magazines and other print material.
     6. Going to shows &/or AGM (Annual General Meeting) and mixing with other breeders.
     7. Showing my llama / alpaca in registry sponsored shows.
     8. Becoming a member and giving my feedback to make a difference in the industry.
     9. Access to areas of the registry website that require a password that is only available for members.
     10. So I can advertise that my farm is an active member:
          a.  to potential buyers
          b. on my website
